VRF & Ducted Air Conditioning Systems

Commercial Ducted Air Conditioning can come in many forms. One of its main forms is the VRF System, allowing many indoor units controlled by one outdoor unit.

Variable refrigerant flow (VRF) is an air-condition system configuration where there is one outdoor condensing unit and multiple indoor units.

The term variable refrigerant flow refers to the ability of the system to control the amount of refrigerant flowing to the multiple evaporators (indoor units), enabling the use of many evaporators of differing capacities and configurations connected to a single condensing unit. The arrangement provides an individualized comfort control, and simultaneous heating and cooling in different zones.

With Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) technology in place, buildings can now utilizes the advantage of heat recovery by capturing heat energy normally discharged to the atmosphere by zones in cooling mode and moving the heat energy to zones that need it. The VRF system also provides exceptional dehumidification and temperature control by rapidly adapting to changing loads. The system is also designed to recover heat, making the system remarkably energy efficient.
